The fiberglass bodywork came finished from the factory in Daytona Blue (916) and is said to have been repainted during a refurbishment that was carried out under previous ownership. Features include a removable color-matched hardtop, a white soft top, concealed headlights, split chrome bumpers, dual side mirrors, bright-finished rocker trim, and dual exhaust outlets exiting through the rear valance.
Chrome 15″ Cragar alloy wheels wear 215/70 Cooper Cobra Radial G/T tires that are said to have been fitted in 2019. Braking is handled by power-assisted drums at all four corners, and the seller states the suspension was overhauled in 2010.
The interior features bucket seats trimmed in blue upholstery with a matching dashboard, center console, door panels, and replacement carpets. Amenities include Vintage Air air conditioning, power steering, an analog clock, lap belts, and a vertically-mounted Delco push-button AM/FM radio playing through aftermarket speakers. Work carried out during current ownership is said to have included refurbishing the dash wiring and installing a quartz movement in the analog clock.
A woodgrain-rimmed steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. The five-digit odometer indicates 3,800 miles, and true mileage is unknown. The seller states that the speedometer was cleaned and calibrated in 2017.
The 327ci V8 was overhauled in May 2010 by Mark’s House of Hot Rods in Mansfield, Texas and features a four-barrel carburetor, a Performer aluminum intake manifold, and finned aluminum valve covers from Edelbrock. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Muncie M21 four-speed manual transmission and a Positraction rear axle.
The engine stamping includes the sequence 120715, which matches the last six digits of the vehicle’s serial number.
