The optional 5.7-liter L98 V8 features tuned-port fuel injection and a factory oil cooler, and was factory rated at 225 horsepower and 330 lb-ft of torque when new.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential.
